We Are Here

We are here, sorry it has taken so long to write. After arriving my email was blocked for some time. We spent a week in the big city with people that will be spread out all over South Asia for the summer. It was a great time of learning and preparation. We have been in the Mountians now for two days. It is wonderfully beautiful up here, and very refreshing from the 115 degree heat. Tomorrow is D day. My partner and I will be placed on a bus for a two day journey. At the end of the journey we hope to find a national waiting for us. We will be with the national alot and on our own some. We will be following the luke 10 model very closely. luke 10 and acts are our teachings and our motto for the summer. Continue to lift us and the other teams up as we search out UPG's and seek to bring light to dark places. Lift up for strongholds, which we will be coming across. We will be updating as soon as possible, but communcation can be tough at times. As they say its South Asia, stuff happens, and that it does, communication is no gaurentee. As we go we carry seed, lift up for receptive soil.

Almost Ready

So its 11 pm the night before I leave and I am finally able to slow down and feel somewhat ready to go. In the morning I will head to Dallas for a day before we leave for Asia. I am packed and physically ready to go. In my heart I feel way behind on the preparation. On Sunday we will land in one of the darkest parts of the world. With that in mind I feel totally unprepared. The last few weeks have been go go go, with little time to be still. My desire is that in the next 48 Hours I will have the time to prepare my heart for the battle that is before us. As we prepare to leave, please lift up the following things:
-Safe Travel
-Rest and Preparation for my partner and I
-The Changing of hearts
-Health

Please lift up my partner and I and all the other students serving this summer. I will try to keep everyone updated as much as possible through this blog. There may be times when updates are rare due to the lack of internet in the places we will be going. Please continue to lift us up as we Go.
